Barron's defines Turnkey as a project that is prepared by a business " . . . that ultimately turns it over in a finished form to the company that will use it, so that all the user has to do is turn the key, so to speak, and the project is underway."

At MS Consultants, we realize that CPAs understand Cost Segregation Studies and how they work, but are too busy to find the time to become an expert in this area or to spend sufficient time on a specific Study. And we also realize that the CPA's Real Estate Owner is also busy, and usually does not want to get involved in the workings of a Study.

That is why our Turnkey Process is appreciated by both CPAs and their Real Estate Owners. We handle the whole Cost Segregation Study process, starting with the use of our standard engagement letter to gathering of information to the site visit to preparing the Report and assisting with the depreciation records. We even prepare and sign Form 3115 "Change In Accounting Method", which allows taxpayers to catch up on missed depreciation, so you don't have to. 

Our goal with our Turnkey Process is to minimize if not eliminate the:

  • Time you or your client needs to spend on this project,
  • Technical tax issues so you do not have to research them, and
  • Amount of paperwork you or your client will need to prepare  

So far, the MS Consultants Turnkey Process has worked over 6,000 times (the number of Studies we have done), "turning over the key" at the end of our Process to a satisfied CPA and their Real Estate Owner.
