Roger Upton, CPA

In 1996 Roger co-founded MS Consultants, LLC. Roger has helped MS Consultants grow to become one of the largest providers of CSS in the country, having performed over 6,000 studies since 1996. Roger’s client list includes publicly traded companies, members of Retail Traffic’s Top 100 Owners, and members of Forbes Top 400 Richest Americans.
In addition, Roger serves as a tax advisor for several large real estate builders, subcontractors and owners. He has had articles published and has received honorariums for lecturing on Federal and New York tax issues and solutions, and is a frequent author of articles for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Federal Affairs website. His speaking engagements have included the Kentucky Society of CPAs Annual Tax Conference, the Rochester Institute of Technology Tax Conference, Rochester Small Business Council and New Mexico Accountants, to name a few. Also, in his role as Chairman of the Tax and Finance Committee of NAIOP, Roger has submitted Formal Comments to the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service regarding Proposed Regulations pertaining to the real estate industry.
Roger received his B.B.A. degree, Cum Laude, in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University. Roger is the Chair of NAIOP’s Tax and Finance Committee, Campaign Treasurer for a United States Congressman, a member of the National Real Estate Roundtable and a member of the AICPA Key Person Program for Congressional and Political Affairs.
